Last Thursday, a service project for ChildSafe had members of the Sonterra congregation bursting at the seams. “It warmed my heart to hear about the children who are going to receive the blankets,” said Julie, a member of the Relief Society who had participated that night. “It was wonderful to be able to do work like that with my friends!”
ChildSafe, a child advocacy center located in Bexar County, has a mission to help children who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect. Upon entering the center, many children are given blankets, stuffed animals, and other various items.
